Honinbo (the sake) is named after Honinbo (the tournament) which is the oldest professional Go tournament in Japan that began in 1941. Featured on the box is a Go board and inside are Go stickers so you can play a game of Go whilst enjoying sake. Learn to play the Go game here
Made from Ichihozumi rice and using a secret yeast, Honinbo is a sake with a fresh and lively palate of sweet and sour apple, orange and prickly pear with a crunchy texture and slightly lingering finish.
A moreish sake that is easy enough to slide into a second or third glass. Drink while playing Go.
