Delivery Time

AUSTRALIA - For standard in stock items, your order will be shipped Tuesday to Friday (we are closed Sunday and Monday). Depending on your location you may receive the package within 2-10 working days after the shipping date by Australia Post eParcel. For urgent deliveries you are free to organise your own courier - Please phone us with your order if you are organising your own courier. Note: Sakeshop orders are despatched from Melbourne.

Order cutoff for pre-Christmas deliveries is Tue 10 Dec 2024. You can of course order after this date and your order will be processed as normal but delivery time by Australia Post is not predictable at this time of year and your order may possibly be delivered after Christmas. 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - We do not deliver outside of Australia.

Delivery Charges

  • Enjoy free shipping for all orders over $160 within Australia.
  • If order amount is less than $160, delivery charges will depend on weight and destination.
  • All payments to be made in Australian dollars only.
  • Delivery is by Australia Post eParcel.

Acceptance of Delivery

All orders must be signed for by a person 18+ years. Please note that anyone who signs for the goods at your nominated delivery address will be assumed to be authorised by you to do so. This includes but is not limited to staff, colleagues, relatives and friends.

If no-one is available at the time of delivery and your parcel is sent by Australia Post, your parcel will be sent to the nearest Australian post office and a card will be left for you to collect your items.

If you choose the "Safe Drop" option from Australia Post (which allows Australia Post to drop the parcel without a signature at your delivery address), Sakeshop  DOES NOT guarantee safe arrival of your package. In the case your package becomes missing and you have chosen "Safe Drop", Sakeshop will not be liable to replace your package.

Delivery Risk and Insurance

In the rare occasion that your parcel has been lost in the postal system Sakeshop will take responsibility and organise for another package to be delivered.

However, if the article has been signed for OR if you have chosen the "Safe Drop" option from Australia Post, Sakeshop cannot take responsibility. (The "Safe Drop" option allows Australia Post to drop the parcel without a signature at your delivery address.) In the case your package becomes missing and you have chosen "Safe Drop", Sakeshop will not be liable to replace your package. Hence, if you are presented with the Safe Drop option we highly recommend that you do not choose it.

Liquor Product Descriptions

Tasting descriptions may vary from your experiences as temperature, glass/cup design and storage method will vary from customer to customer.

Incorrect Address

If you have given us an incomplete or incorrect address you will be charged a re-delivery charge plus the postal return fee. If the package cannot be delivered due to an incorrect name and the package is returned to Sakeshop by the shipper, you will be charged a re-delivery charge plus a postal return fee, in order to re-enable shipping.
