Kaze No Mori Akitsuho 807 - 720ml

$45.95 AUD

Yucho Shuzo appeals to the inner sake nerd in all of us by releasing an 80% milled version of their famous Akitshuho 657 (milled to 65%).

Brewed in the same manner as the 657, the 807 is same, same but different. In the 807, the Aroma backs down a notch is and reminiscent of Hubba Bubba original with a hint of musk and steamed fragrant rice. Although there is a little less CO2 in the 807 it drinks slightly drier and richer than it's stablemate. The fresh banana of the 657 is replaced with a deeper, sweeter banana with a little caramel and fresh cream. The supporting chorous of apple and pear are still there and integrate into well balanced easy drinking style of sake with a buttery texture and slightly lingering finish.

For the authentic Sake Otaku experience this sake must be tried beside the Akitsuho 657. You will note the 657 is more vibrant, with fresh cut herbs with refreshing finish.

Yucho Shuzo are a specialist at brewing Nama (unpasteurised) sake. They brew consistantly throughout the year and press just prior to shipping so you can enjoy fresh, vibrant namazake as if you were drinking in Japan.

Drink this sake alongside the original Akitsuho 657 for the full experience.
