Sydneysiders rejoice! On Saturday July 8, the city’s first ever Sakeshop, a store completely dedicated to the Japanese rice wine, will be opening its doors in Stanmore.
With events such as Izakaya nights, sake sessions accompanied by small Japanese bites, educational workshops and WSET accredited courses, the venture hopes to make sake a sensation in the harbour city.
On offer will be Nihonshu, Shochu, Umeshu and a number of Japanese beers, with prices ranging from $8 to $188 for the serious sake lovers.
