Roasted Teabags - Premium Houjicha Japanese Tea x 14

If you’ve ever visited any number of food markets in Japan, the distinct aroma of freshly roasted houjicha often fills the air. Houjicha is roasted green tea – Chef’s Armoury’s favourite morning tea. This tea is served at approx 90C.

It has a unique yet familiar flavour to the western palate.

Tasting notes: This tea has well rounded tannins with a slightly smoky palette of hazelnut and toffee with a dry finish. A light roast with mild coffee and caramel notes on the nose reminiscent of a stroll through Nishiki markets in Kyoto.

Houjicha is known to be lower in caffeine.
