In Japan baseball fans are enthusiast and lively and their liveliness is expressed in every glass of Diamond Life sake. The diamond is the square area connecting the four bases in baseball. The offense and defense that unfold here creates the drama. Nine varieties of rice from Akita prefecture are brewed together in the same tank – inspired by the nine players making up a baseball team (did we mention life is baseball). Made with a classic Akita Kimoto starter for extra depth of flavour.

Keeping with the Baseball theme, number 9 yeast is used to produce characteristics of grapefruit, apple, muscat grape, cut grass, lotus flower and some home plate earthiness.
